Sometimes we run into deer and other wildlife on our walks. How does your dog react when they see wildlife? Are they able to focus/recall/eat around wildlife?

We have to drive to our hiking destinations. How does your dog react to being in the car? Are they fearful or anxious?

For saftey reasons all dogs are crated in the car. Is your dog crate trained?

Hiking dogs will often get dirty and muddy on our walks. I do towel them off but a towel can only do so much. Some clients chose to use things like shed defenders/K9 topcoats to minimize the mess.With that being said, are you okay with your dog getting muddy/dirty/wet on the walks and potentially coming home dirty?

Sometimes we come across mountain bikers on our walks. We practice moving off trail until they pass. How does your dog react to bicycles?

Hikes are off leash, but dogs will start on leash until a solid relationship is formed. How does your dog walk on leash? Are they able to walk without pulling?

Guarding is when dogs get possesive of objects or food. It often looks like stiff posture, lip lifting, growling, etc. Does your dog guard food or objects from humans or other dogs?
